Shipping and delivery

How long it takes to get a REIER order to your door, which countries we can reach, and who pays what at the border. Every number on this page comes from one place, so it cannot say one thing here and another thing somewhere else.

We pack in

2 to 4 business days

Time between your payment going through and the parcel leaving Amsterdam.

We ship with

PostNL

Who actually carries the parcel, and whose track and trace you will get in your email.

Then in transit

1 to 3 business days after dispatch

Inside the Netherlands. The European Union and the rest of the world are in the table below.

Free shipping from

€70

Order value at which the shipping cost drops off at checkout, on orders going to the Netherlands. Everywhere else shipping is charged whatever the order comes to.

Timing

How long it takes

Two clocks run one after the other. First we pack your order, then the carrier moves it. The table below is the second clock: it starts on the day the parcel leaves Amsterdam, not on the day you place the order.

Delivery time in transit, per destination
DestinationIn transit
Netherlands1 to 3 business days after dispatch
European Union5 to 10 business days
Outside the European Unionto be confirmed: delivery time outside the European Union

A destination that is still marked in the table is a number we have not set yet. We would rather show you the gap than print a delivery time we cannot keep.

Destinations

Where we ship

This list is read out of our shop settings every time the page is built, so it cannot drift away from what checkout actually accepts. We currently ship to 41 countries and territories. If yours is not listed, checkout will not let the order through.

Borders

Customs and import duties

Inside the European Union your parcel never leaves one customs area. There is no clearance, no import duty and nothing extra to pay at the door.

Outside the European Union a border gets crossed, and a border costs money.

We declare the real value of what is in the box. Asking us to write a lower figure, or to mark an order as a gift, is customs fraud and we will not do it.

Refusing a parcel at the door does not make the charges disappear, and a refused parcel can take weeks to find its way back to Amsterdam. If you are not sure what your country charges on clothing, look it up before you order rather than after.

Duties you have already paid do not come back on their own when you send something back. What does and does not get refunded is on returns and exchanges.

Tracking

Where is my order

When your order leaves us you get an email with a tracking link. That link is the fastest answer to this question, so start there.

Before you write to us, four things worth checking:

  • Give the tracking a day. A code usually exists before the carrier has scanned the parcel, so a tracker that says nothing on day one is normal.
  • Read back the address you entered, house number and any addition included. A missing letter is the most common reason a parcel goes wandering.
  • Ask next door and look for a card in the letterbox. Parcels are often left with a neighbour or at a pickup point nearby.
  • Check your spam folder for the dispatch email.

Write to us when one of these is true:

  • the delivery time in the table above has passed and the tracking has not moved
  • the tracking says delivered and you have nothing
  • the parcel turned up damaged or already open

Put your order number in the subject line and send it to reier.clothing@gmail.com. A person reads it, usually the one who packed the order.

Next door

Looking for returns?

Plenty of people open a shipping page when what they actually want is to send something back. That has its own page, with the deadline, who pays the return postage and the steps to start one.

Returns and exchanges

Still stuck

Ask a human

REIER is a small label in Amsterdam. Mail us and a person reads it, usually the same one who packed your order.
